Membership in the Society provides many opportunities to cherish our American heritage of freedom... to preserve family and local histories... to influence current affairs... to promote celebration of our national holidays... to live patriotically... to support our national defense... to enjoy our beautiful, member owned buildings in Washington, D.C. (the largest group of buildings in the world built, owned, and maintained entirely by women)... to form friendships with others who share our love of God, Home and Country. |

The Baton Rouge Genealogical and Historical Society BRGHS) meets at 9200 Bluebonnet Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA,at the Bluebonnet Regional Branch library. Meetings are currently held on the third Saturday each month at 10:30 a.m. Our programs present professional speakers and members who share their areas of interest and expertise.
